Roman Kikta to speak & participate at the round table on “The role of financial institutions in Russia and APEC countries in the implementation of economic potential of the Far East region” at the The Association of Regional Banks of Russia conference with the support of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation at the Dalnevostochny State University (Far Eastern Federal University) in Vladivostok, Russia on October 3-4, 2013.
The participants will discuss the experience and ways of this problems solutions, set parameters for mutually beneficial cooperation, offer a range of possible ways of the national banking business adapting according to the features of the business partnership with credit institutions of APEC .
Topics for discussion:
– mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and APEC;
– cross-border transactions;
– the use of national currencies in mutual settlements;
– foreign exchange transactions;
– work of branches and representative offices of banks;
– ways of financing commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects;
– the promotion of bilateral trade.
Discussion will be held in the format of two plenary sessions. According to the results of the discussions recommendations on the next steps and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation will be made.
The official working languages of the meeting are Russian, English.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the APEC business community, the diplomatic missions of the APEC countries, authorities and management of the Far Eastern Federal region, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, regional banks, representatives of the real sector of the economy of Primorsky region.
